No artificial herbacides or pesticides can be used. Depending on the region your growing (local laws) the soil must be free of these for a certain amount of months before you can legally label the plant "organic". More at www.FDA.org.

"Organic" scientifically means it contains carbon atoms, which all fruit does. In current culture, it indicates grown without the use of commercial pesticides or herbicides.

Fruit isn't made in a can. It grows from the earth. Haha.

Same way as "regular" fruit. The producer/farmer just did not use any pesticide or herbicide on it. He/she would probably also haved used manure as fertilizer.

They just let it grow...and then they chop it up and can it.
