3790 Wilshire Blvd? Because theres a concert in feb. that I want to go to and I have to book a hotel room because LA is 12/13 hours away from my home... and expedia has this little drop down menu that has Los Angeles (and vicinity) (All areas)

Downtown
Hollywood/Beverly Hills
Long Beach
LAX
and the concert is held at the Wiltern Theatre.. I wanna get a hotel room close to it... so is the wiltern in one of those areas?

Wiltern Theater is in the corner of Western Blvd and Wilshire Blvd. It is smack in the middle of Koreatown, a few blocks west of the famous (now defunct) Ambassador Hotel where Robert F Kennedy was assassinated in 1968. The location is considered to be in Downtown Los Angeles. There is a little hotel that caters to businessmen about 1/3 of a block from there (2 minutes' walk) next to McDonald's. In February, I imagine you wouldn't even need an advance booking for that hotel. I think it would rate about 2 stars and would cost about $100.

First, the Wiltern is located right on the corner of Western and Wilshire, in the city of Los Angeles.

The Wiltern Theatre is an Art Deco Theatre that takes it's name from the intersection of the 2 streets where it is located, WILshire Blvd. and wesTERN Avenue. It is located midway between Hollywood and Downtown, so either of those areas would be a short cab ride or subway ride away from the theatre. There is a subway stop at that intersection, from either area, 3 minutes tops.
