I asked my mother for you, and she said that she began giving it to me at about 3-4 months...she also tld me to tell you that I have severe food allergies now, and the dr that I used to see told her it was from starting foods to soon, and that juice could have played a part in it also.

My kids - 4 of them - started juice when they wanted it. A couple had it in bottles, the other 2 in cups. I know my first baby had juice, baby juice, from a bottle before 3 months. I think the main thing is that little babies need nourishment and the juice just takes up space without the nourishment of breast milk or formula.

6 months mix 1/2 juice 1/2 water so the baby doesn't get all that sugar make sure you read the contents on label cause some baby juices are still a little high on sugar

My mother in law told me that they would give their babies any food (mashed up of course) at just two or three months.
But remember what we eat and drink today is a lot different than what was back then. Our juices are usually not all juice and our food is mostly all processed. Most of their foods and drinks wereall natural, unlike today. And where a lot safer for babies.

I'm not a grandmother, but my mom started all 4 of us kids on juice and cereal at 3 weeks and 3/4 of us we overweight as young children and that carried into adulthood, causing Type II diabetes for us. The one that was not overweight has food allergies and other health problems. Experts have proven that giving babies solids (Cereal) and juice too early leads to these kinds of problems.

Remember, you're adding a lot of sugar to the baby's diet by adding juice; you should dilute it quite a bit with water. I say wait till you think cool water isn't enough of a refresher for the little guy. Summer?

I didn't give my children juice until they were able to drink out of a cup. So, they must have been over12 months. I gave them formula and water to drink. They got their fruits and vegetables from solids.
