the question here is, who does he like? you could both like him all you want but, it is up to him as to who he likes. maybe he does not like either of you in that way. but i think that if he does end up asking one of you out, this could cause some problems in your friendship, unless you are mature enough to be happy for the friend that he did ask out. so with that being said. only he knows!!

Well my two friends are the same way over one of my guy friends, at first he didn't like any of them, but eventually he got to like my best friend. They both have a bond together(my two friends) because they like the same guy and don't have hard feelings for the other just because they like the same guy. My friend who the guy doesn't like is just happy for my other friend, and there's no jealousy, which is great! They tell everything about him to eachother, and that's the end of it!
I guess you can do the same thing and hope that he eventually gets to like you, but even if he ends up liking your friend I hope it doesn't get between you two. Don't let a guy get in the way of your friendship, that would suck.
But yeah, that's just an experience of mine, not everybody can be as cool as they are with eachother as they are.

If your bestfriends with her, that's no problem, and if you're obsessed with him, it'll fade. Me and my friend had the same problem, but we always joked about it. She moved on and I didn't. Of course she and I both got tired of her talking about him. When she moved on, I stayed and I still like him. It's no big deal. Just don't let a guy get in the way of your friendship. Besides, and hopefully obsessions don't last. Enjoy the moment. Me and my friends sure did.

Obsessed isn't liking. It's like a 13 year old chick obsessed with the lead singer of her favorite band. Once you have him...he's really not valuable to you in a couple weeks. I would know. That happened to me. I was obsessed over this guy and I thought I liked him a lot! Buuuut once I got him...I didn't want him. Reevalute what you truly honestly like about him and such.

The same thing happened to me, only reverse the sexes. Me and my friend both liked the same girl, you know. We let her choose, she chose him, but there are no hard feelings. If you are truly good friends, you would rather let the other have the guy than to take him and lose your friendship. But yes, let him choose and try not to have a grudge or anything with your friend if he chooses her.
