I would search "Guided Reading Leveled Books" you may have to mess around with the search, like typing in "free" or "list". Anyway, you'll want level A.

Also, books that you have at home, even though you may have read them a lot, can still be very helpful to beginning readers. A lot of parents think that when I child memorizes the stories (even if it's word for word) that all they are doing is reciting. Actually, what they are doing is in fact reading. You could still work with your child with more difficult books. Part of what your child is leaning is the way to read, moving left to right, turing the page, etc. You could also contact your child's teacher. You may be able to set up a system where she sends books home with your child to read at night.

Good luck!

the BOB books are a great series to use with beginning readers!
I can't believe your library only carries 10? Is it a small town? If your city is beg or if you are near another small town I would look at a different library. You could talk with your librarian and ask if there is a network between the libraries in your area where they share books. You can then request a book that your library does not have but a different library would send it over for you. I used to live in a small town and my library networked with other small town libraries nearby and like once or twice a month they would send books back and forth for people who made special requests. Now we live in a large city and there are multiple libraries and you can request any book you want form any of the other branches.
I also use Children's Book of the Month Club to get new books for my kids. They are divided into age groups and reading readiness.

Go to your local library! :) Why buy when you can borrow.
The "Let's Read and Find Out Series" is a non-fiction series about science but written at a level one (Gr 1-2-3) and a level two series (Gr 2-3-4-5) depending on your child's reading level. Non-fiction can be fun! baby whales, eggs, why i hiccup etc.

The "Bob" book series are small paperback books that work well. Hooked on Phonics is a great resource..expensive..but your local library should either have it or inter-library-loan it from another for you.

Any "Step Into Reading" series book is good too.
Berenstain Bears, DR> SEUSS...the list is endless.
If you want non-series books, or authors to go along please ask.
Cheers

Look for a series of books called Collier's Junior Classics, Volumes 1 - 10. They start with beginner reading in the first volume and grow with difficulty as she grows. They were written in the 1960s and can usually be found on EBay relatively cheap.

properly, i'm a woman, so which you will possibly no longer easily take exhilaration in those, yet i could recommend: A. My part of the Mountain & Hatchet, that are the two adventure storied set interior the desert. B. Hidden skills, The starvation video games, and The loss of existence Breath. All 3 are sci-fi (which i do no longer probably like, yet i in my view enjoyed those books.) C. Sondok: Princess of the Moon and Stars, Daughter of Venice, quantity the celebrities, and the Diary of Anne Frank are good historic fiction books. the 1st 2 are approximately unfairness to women, the final 2 relate to the Holocaust and Nazis. D. well-liked sequence books: Twilight (my fave), Harry Potter, Lord of the jewelry, and so on. E. Nicholas Sparks books: The computing device, expensive John, The final music, A walk to bear in mind, and so on. F. secret books. I enormously recommend The London Eye secret. As for comedy, it particularly is no longer that i'm too confident. i've got study many books, yet i do no longer understand if i could categorize any of them as rather "comical". often, comedy has a tendency to look in shorter books with hilarious characters that do stupid issues.
