God wreaks vengence on his unbelievers, idol worshippers, those who proclaim other gods before him, that yes I agree with. No I am not a Jehovah, I am A Christian. God is not capable of evil, he has given people chance after chance. He does to us as a parent would disipline a child. Those of you who actually have children will realize you disipline your children, but you still love them Right? Those of us who are saved do not fear the bad we trust no matter what we will be with our Lord.Nobody can take that away. Jesus Loves YOU!

Yes, God will wreak vengeance on unbelievers. He disciplines believers as we discipline our own children because He loves us and wants us to stay on the path of righteousness. Jesus Loves you!

"god wreaks vengence on his unbelievers" -- I'm a TOTAL unbeliever, and have never had any vengence wreaked on me. Looks like "god" isn't keeping his promises. Oh, wait, that's probably because there is no evidence of any kind that there IS a god -- and an imaginary myth can't do anything to anybody! Whew, I'm safe.

Um, what was your question? Oh, yeah -- no. Take a look around the world right now -- there's plenty of vengence being wreaked by men and women all over the planet. Looks like "god" has slipped up yet again...

I think it's time for you to give up and quit. That's what I did and I feel better about myself and started writing. Relax and don't try so hard, it'll only bring more stress to a situation that you can't change. Do something you enjoy and let the money come on its own. By the way, I wouldn't keep consulting God, you're just being dependent and God wants you to be immaterial and follow in his ways- be homeless, have a beard, and wear sandals and a toga. God isn't rich in materials - India is filled with all of those God men , their their wealth is knowledge and wisdom. All those gurus think it's a badge of honor to be immaterial and live on little means. They think they are great and better than everybody for not having anything, etc. The truth is Jesus and all those gurus don't fit in with the rest of the world - if you are one of them, you won't fit in, so stay out. They want you to win yourself over rather than the world. Consult yourself - ask yourself for guidance and be smart.

And would you punish your child with eternal torture? Even if the misdeed was truly something trivial?

If god isn't evil, how does evil exist? If it is due to the "Fall," then it was created by god. If god created the garden, placed a man and a woman in there as well as a tree that he told them they couldn't eat from, and, being omniscient, knew that they would eat from it, then he purposefully set them up. And he is punishing us for their misdeed. With eternal torture, no less.

So, god had to have created evil for some purpose. Why would a Good Being do that? And before you say, "As a test of our faith," think about what you're saying. That means he killed 100,000 people with a tsunami - men, women, and children - just to teach you a lesson? What was the point of sending the Black Death into Europe? Why would he spend thousands of years killing millions Chinese families with floods, families which had never even heard of him, nor had the heard of Jesus because Jesus hadn't even been born yet. What was the lesson there? How did he teach them anything? How could they possibly accept Christ if Christ hadn't even been here yet? Isn't that like a parent sending his/her child into eternal torture without ever telling them what the rules were so they could avoid breaking them?

According to you, God is an evil being who wreaks vengeance. I disagree. God does not wreak vengeance and never has. You must have been reading some nonsense from the old testament.
V-e-n-g-e-a-n-c-e is the word you want, by the way.

Yes, vengence is God's alone. He tells us this so we do not seek vengence ourselves. Two wrongs don't make a right. But God can make a wrong right (if that makes sense). Basically, we reap what we sow. When we sow bad seeds, we will reap bad crops. Think of God as the guy who goes and reaps the bad crops for you.

The flood was extreme! But he still made a way for mankind to escape. The commandments are extreme and the punishment for failing to follow the commandments is extreme. But still He made a way of escape.
Is vengence God's alone I think it depends on what is being avenged.
