I have a really big issue I need to deal with,, confront,, ect ect,, I am scared to death to do it,, usually I stuff and ignore problems until I can't do it anymore,, I know this is something that has to come out so I can move on.

Any ideas on how to jump in the topic with my therphist?

Just do it. If you're talking with a therapist then there should be open communication. They can't help you deal with it if you won't address it. Good luck.

That something a lot of people do-- put off a problem and the problem grows.
Tell your therapist you have an issue you want to discuss-- write yourself notes to read from if you're afraid you won't get the words out. Your fear of the issue is much bigger than the issue itself.

write it down before you see her, take the paper with you. Sit down in her office take a deep breath and just say it, if you find you can't, read it, if you lose your voice, give your therapist the paper to read in your presence.

Just walk in, sit down, and let it out. You are paying her to help you solve these type of issues.

Just tell the therapist the problem. Believe me, therapists have heard it ALL. Even though you think you'll shock him/her, you won't. Again, therapists have heard it ALL.
