As an Ex-illegal Allien, a now a USA citizen, working for law enforcemets for many years...now very retired...I can tell you one thing...fake marriages usually 90% back-fire to the immigrant that seeking a way to stay in USA...because usually the other side that gets involved in this kind of scim is greedy and very dishonest...so soon or later the immigration service gets aware of the situation...DUE TO THE PROBLEMS THAT CREATE BOTH PARTIES with the LOCAL POLICE AUTHORITIES AND COURTS.and then is no mercy on his or her efforts to stay in USA.

I think even the people that get married still have a long waiting period before they are truly a nationalized American. They get those benefits because of their American spouse, but if they divorce I believe they lose it. (I'm not the expert and I'm not sure.)
On your comment:
If illegally migrated Mexicans wanted to work and pay taxes, then they would be learning English and nobody would know they were "Mexicans". Instead they want to collect benefits from America, but also want to remain Mexican. Most refuse to make an effort to learn English, even insisting their children speak Spanish in their homes. Some even continue to fly the Mexican flag and don't understand why Americans get upset.
If you want to be an American...its simple you have to WANT to be and AMERICAN. Once you fit in, nobody will know the difference or make an issue out of it. Continue to be different or Mexican, and you'll continue to see people complain about illegal immigration.

in the previous starting to be to be a citizen, you first would desire to acquire your green card (your everlasting residency.) you could desire to maintain your everlasting resident prestige for 3 years in case you're married and 5 years in case you at the instant are not married in the previous you could word for Citizenship. in case you acquire everlasting residency by marriage and function no longer been married for extremely long. You grow to be a "conditional resident" that's barely a 2 twelve months green card in the previous you record for a 10 twelve months one. it somewhat is to ascertain that your marriage is actual, you could desire to stay married once you're a conditional resident. yet on account which you have no longer even began your place of work work to grow to be a resident then you definately would desire to locate yet in any different case. in case you have a mushy and stable job you will see in case your emplyer ought to sponser you. or you ought to consistently wait and locate yet another spouse. or you could communicate your modern-day spouse into staying with you for a splash longer, record for residency, stay mutually, and appear like a coup[le mutually as you the two are secretely seeing different human beings and then divorce later. in case you think of she might try this for you. that is cruel andn unlawful and that i wouldn't in any respect do it if i've got been on your place, in spite of the undeniable fact that it does ensue. notwithstanding you %. you nonetheless would desire to attend to get residency and then wait some extra for citizenship. So perchance in 5-7 years, you would be unfastened.

You don't become a citizen just by getting married, you still have to apply for citizenship, I know my husband is illegal.

first off, no the mexicans don't pay taxes....they get the free hand outs that the govt gives.....they calim they make money (in reality they are on welfare) then they file false tax returns, to claim credits, bylying about the children that they have. this credit pays for the "tax" if any that is on their return, and then they get a 3000 refund...this is not their money. they have not paid into the system, and they get ssa since the credit that they get covers their obligation to ssa.
They (all illegals)bleed our country dry... And I for one am sick of paying for them

They don't exist. Someone still has to apply for citizenship. Marriage is not a free ride to becoming a citizen. You should read up on things before you just spout them out.
