I have a question abou the NROTC. If you go to the nrtoc to be a marine and you want to be active duty afterwards and not in the reserve is that possible or do u have to be in the reserves?

You can go straight to active duty, I believe. You may even have to.

ALL graduates of NROTC are commissioned into the reserves. Only graduates of the Naval Academy are commissioned into the regular navy.

Even NROTC grads who serve on active duty for 20+ years are in the USNR.

You can apply for transfer to the regular navy. Your application may, or may not, be accepted.

i think you have to stay in the reserves i mean you sighn a contract i think isaid i do not know but 80 percent sure
