Yes.
The issues most people have with their contact lenses is when they ignore their doctor's instructions on the use of their contacts.
While many people will tell you not to sleep in your contacts, most of that is from older technology lenses which have a relatively low oxygen transmissability rate.
Fairly recent advances in technology allow for materials with much greater oxygen transmissability and the FDA has approved some lenses for up 30 days of continuous wear (never removing the lens for a month), where the previous maximum was about 6 days.
Always, always, always listen to your eye care professional's instructions on whichever lenses you end up with.

I have been wearing contacts for over 30 years and I much prefer them to glasses. The only thing with contacts is make sure you take them out at night, (never sleep with them in) and try not to wear them for more than 12-14 hours at a time. The lenses reduce the amount of oxygen that is getting to your eyes. If you can, take them out a couple of hours before you go to bed, to let your eyes breath. This will reduce the red eye effect (which is just extra veins being formed in your eyes to carry, what else, oxygen)
You can get disposables. I use the monthly kind.

I have been wearing contacts since I was 13 years old, I am now 33. If you take good care of your contacts and go to your eye doctor when your suppose to you should have no problems. They are wonderful! If you can afford Lasix eye surgery, that is the ultimate, but unfortunatley, my insurance doesnt cover that therefore I will stick with my contacts!

specific they're risk-free yet you may get some which you will positioned on for 30 days then despose or dailies. I truthfully have blue eyes and truthfully suitable the brown and green. in case you have dark eyes, easy colorings arent incredibly recommended through fact the replace, if any, might in basic terms be very fair. splendor colored lenses are a lavatory often happening shape (not made to greater healthful your eyes in my opinion) so as that they may well be a sprint uncomfortable. additionally, on no account sleep in them or positioned on them for long classes of time.
