My ENTIRE life I've been plagued with stomach aches. If I eat super-duper healthy (like, according to a macrobiotic detox plan) the stomach aches go away. I'm not willing to give up all the food I love (which is a good balance between mostly healthy stuff and a bit of junk). My family doctor says nothing is wrong with me. Is there a vitamin or supplement that I could be taking to make these stomach aches go away? I drink a lot of decaf peppermint tea because I've been told it's good for stomach problems, but I would definitely like something stronger (but still natural).

Sounds more like anxiety or nerves to me, I can see this being the issue if it happens when something happens. With the gas thing is it actual gas, like a burp or is it more of a burning sensation? If it is a burning sensation it could be what's commonly known as heartburn and acid indigestion. Eating greasy foods is a common cause of heartburn. I would suggest trying to take Tums or Rolaids next time the problem occurs after eating. Tums and Rolaids aren't great tasting, although Tums has a chocolate flavor that isn't too bad, but they both provide quick relief of heartburn. You might also want to talk to your doctor again and see what she suggests doing for the sensitive stomach issue, if her advice doesn't help, then obviously you don't have a sensitive stomach and it's something else, but see what she recommends doing and see if it wor.
