If you want to prove that recycling paper saves trees look at the percentage of post-consumer waste that is in "recycled paper" products. That is sometimes on the package and is always available from the company that is making it. A lot of recycled paper just contains mostly paper scraps from the paper mill so it is not reducing the flow of consumer trash into the waste stream.

recycling of concrete, brick and masonry via crushing saves our natural resources but reducing mining for virgin materials and reduces landfill space if it where to be disposed. Salvaging of wood timbers, planking and trusses for re-milling and re-use absolutely saves trees. Dallas Contracting Co., Inc. is an expert recycling, concrete crushing and salvage contractor.
