I noticed this about a 2 weeks ago? Could he have a disease?

The fur is much more thin there naturally so if they scratch a bit extra it looks bald quicker.

When the cat is in your lap and relaxes, give them a scratch in the area and see how it responds. If it is really upset take it to the vets, if not just leave it.

I saw this on a really interesting documentary! All cats have a sparse area of fur above each eye. This is to trick other animals into thinking that they're awake when they're asleep so that they keep their distance. Very clever stuff.

I dont know. I would like to know myself. My kitten has a bald patch above his right eye. The skin is dry so I put bag balm on it. I will know when you know! Have a great day!

If the patches are COMPLETELY bald, it could be a problem.

Most cats,as they age, will get space hair where their eyebrows would be. This is normal as they age.

all cats have them.ive had about 20 cats in my life and they all have had them above their eyes so no reason to worry unless u find bold patches anywhere else :-)

mine has little bit of hair above her eyes 'but no totally bald spots

My cat had had this. He was allergic to beef. Apparantly it is becoming increasingly common. Try excluding any cat-food with beef from your cat's diet and see if it gets better.

All cats get this. it is because their ears move a lot, causing the fur to shed.

could be getting a URI and its eyes are runny and he may be scratching them very common cold in cats
