sorry "she" too constricting. I would preserve many moments not just one but I would gladly discard many moments also. the ones I would preserve would be the moments that something or usually someone warmed my heart - those moments are all worth preserving.

Standing at the altar, waiting nervously as the clock ticked the seconds by. Was she coming? Was she just late. Nervously putting the weight on one foot then the other, at the same time fiddling with my signet ring apprehensively.

Where was she, what was happening, and then the organ struck up those famous chords.

Turning to see a vision in white floating down the aisle, with a beautiful smile, my wife to be was there!

I was told my 2 mos old son was not going to make it out of the hospital. All I could do was sit by his side and look at him just lay there. One night after I got done praying I went over to him with my sister and she had a mirror in her hand. She began to show him his reflection and his eyes opened wide. He then turned towards us and smiled. From that moment on I knew he was going to be ok. He is now 15 yrs old and full of energy. Praise God!! Amen

The moment my older daughter (who was 2 at the time) at Christmas "opened" her rocking horse by pulling a large sheet off of it and said, with great awe: "Hi, Horsey!" She's now 42 and is a veterinarian.

Awesome question!!!

Mine would probably be the day I walked onto the korfball court to represent my country in the World Cup for the first time! I choked on our National Anthem... that's how proud I felt!

Coming home from the first time I had to be away from my wife. I spotted her standing in a corner at the arrivals gate. She started to walk toward me, then burst into tears and threw her arms around me. I can see that scene as clear as day in my mind.

That's a great thought! Because my parents are deceased, I would want to have the time we were in the back yard around a small fire toasting marshmallows and just being together. Thank you for prompting me to remember this.
