My baby will be 6 months old christmas time. I am looking for a craft project that I can do to hang on the christmas tree. I know there was one with a poem and cutout handprints but I can't remember it?????

Thanks

I personally make ornaments aroundchristmas time. I take the glass balls of all colors an paint them with different characters, the name of the child, date of birth, or something like a birth announcment that the parents can keep for a long time and then hand down to their children.

This was always a big hit with our family and when I was teaching preschool! Definitley a keeper :)

Sometimes you get discouraged
Because I am so small
And always leave my fingerprints
On furniture and walls
But every day I'm growing
I'll be grown some day
And all those tiny handprints
Will surely fade away
So here's a little handprint
Just so you can recall
Exactly how my fingers looked
When I was very small

You can do a small plaster of paris hand print ornament. Since your baby is young, her hand print will be tiny. It won't take much plaster at all, so it won't be too heavy.

Plaster of paris is real cheap and at any craft store...
