I know I have a tendency to become anemic, but regular iron tablets are so hard on my stomach. Does anyone know how to get enough iron, either by tablet or liquid in a way that won't shred my guts?

Actually, the best way to get iron is in your diet. Foods that are rich in iron are meats,such as beef steaks, liver, and hamburger. The next best source is bakery products,such as, white breads, rolls,and crackers. Also look for products fortified with iron. You can also add a Vit C supplement because Vit C helps in the absorption of iron.

try eating before you take the iron tablets also eat lots of fruits and vegs
