Here in central Louisiana if varies from Parish to Parish. For East Baton Rouge it's $13 in East Feliciana it's $10. The price difference, in EBR there's air filter test.

I would call a local auto shop that dose state inspection and ask them. Its not the same state to state. Some times it cost more if you live in or near a large city.

In Texas it's 12.50 for a car more than 25 years old,less than that it's 39.50

It depends on where you live, I am in NY and just paid 73.00 and it is for 2 yrs. on a2001 plymouth voyager.
