So, let me get this right, you are implying that police enforcing narcotics laws is "harassment"? Just by what I have read, you sound as if your a drug dealer. If you don't like being "harassed" then don't sling dope on the street.

If you consider drug enforcement to be "dirty policing" then you need to learn that officers are doing their job, TO SAVE PEOPLE LIKE YOU.
If you think police are being disrespectful and do not respect the citizen, then tell me if you think this is respectful enough:

We are there to save, serve & protect you.
We are there when you place a call for help.
We are there Easter, Christmas... you name it 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We are there to lend a helping hand.
We are there when terrorist places a threat.
We are there to take a bullet for you.
We are there to control situations to prevent you from getting hurt.
We are there when a fight breaks out.
We are there with our lives on the line when all hell breaks loose.
We are there when we see a fellow officer fall for you.

And we are there to remember all of the officers who have passed away while on the job, does anyone else remember them?

We have chosen to pursue a life threatening job to keep this country in order.
Why?
Because no one else will do it.

Now you tell me if this is enough respect for the community.

The majority of people do have respect for law enforcement. It is the criminal element, such as you, that does not have respect for law enforcement. I agree that fear is not respect, but if fear keeps people like you from breaking the law again, then it did accomplish something.

Drug users and sellers are breaking the law period. It is the policeman's job to put a stop to it. Deal with it.

I see your point, the same thing happened in the 20's and 30's during prohibition...and we do seem to have a spate of crooked cops lately...near my town there was recently a seargant arrested for stalking and rape....but yeah trust the police...if you want to get raped...
