Man, he mother totally hates me and wants me to stay away from him because I'm black.My parents don't approve of him either because hes not Black. But we love each other and we're secretely dating. My friend says that I should just give up. Should I?

no. if you love him, you need him. if there really are going to be problems and it won't work, you need to find that out for yourself.

Depends on how long yall been seeing each other.
If this is something thats been going on for a while you need to talk to ur parents and so does he. Find out what their problem is exactly and what theyre problem is with the other race that they really don't want u guys to see eachother. If they have no real reason for you not to see him or vis versa then stay with eachother.
Now I'm not saying thats there is a good reason for your parents not to agree, cuz in my opinion there isnt, but if they do have a "good" reason try to explain to them how your guys feel and how this isnt fare to either one of u.
I dont beleive anyone should give up their happiness to make their parents happy just because thats not the life they saw for their child.

Of course you shouldn't give up!! But, you shouldn't be hiding it from your parents, either. Love is something that cannot be stopped, so you have to be strong and let your parents know exactly how you feel. If they still think the same way, ask them why they think the way they do. However, you shouldn't, under any circumstances, give up. I hope this all works out for you two!!

If you love someone then why is it a problem with loving them.

Dont break up with him. Not yet. Trying talking to your parents. See if you can get them to stop juding on the colour.

No. It sounds like ur parents are being ignorant and racist. U should never be judgemental towards people because of their color.Even if u two don't work out, u still shouldn't date based on color.If u two like each other you should be together.And ur parents need to just deal with it

Haha, no, you are not like Romeo and Juliet because you are both alive. But anyway, it depends on how old you are. If you're just kids, it's just puppy love and you should stop seeing him. But if you're an adult and old enough to make your own decisions, continue seeing him, because that is RACISM.
