There's this member which I like, but I don't wanna rush things because I just try to be friends with her first (if she wants to also, that is). So what's the best way to approach her through email on site? I'm always kind of afraid things won't work out well and I screw up.

Just be yourself. Tell what attracted you to her profile. Elaborate on your interests, what you are looking for. Don't be scared before you even know what may happen. After having a little experience with online dating, remember that chemistry happens in person, not online or over the phone. I met this one guy online and we had great phone conversations two weeks before meeting in person. Our first meeting was awful. We hardly said two words to eachother. I believe that part of the problem is that we both had too high expectations becasue we had such great phone conversations. Good luck.

Tell that about what ever it is that made you interested in her and tell her that you want to be friends. Ask if she would like to also.

Things might not work out, and you might screw them up... until they do work out, and you don't screw them up. just be honest about yourself and your intentions and see where that takes you.
