NO NO NO! Microwaves are radio waves. Radioactivity is an entirely different kind of radiation. You can't create radioactivity from benign substances.

Absolutely not.. There is nothing radioactive about microwave ovens. They cook by using radio waves called microwaves emitted by the magnetron. It cooks food by exciting the water molecules in food that rub together and create the cooking heat.

I don't know. I do know that a microwave can & does change the molecular structure of the food that it "heats" up. These changes can make the food toxic to your system because they are difficult to digest & utilize in the human body. They don't break down like living organisms do.
