i haven't registered to vote yet. i recently gained the privilage of voting but can not exercise it. how/ where do i go to register?

In the US, generally the town clerk. Look in the phone book - the paper one! - in the blue pages for 'voting registration' or 'town clerk' and call them for information as to where to register. In many towns, this is down at town hall. Good luck voting in the next election.

It depends on your state there are 6 states that have same day registration. Otherwise you have to register before the election. You can usually register at your DMV. Call and register tomorrow so you can vote the next time!!
