Nice to know my vote counts. You wouldn't know it from the voter registration office here. I recently moved counties and had to re-register. I followed the information listed on my voter's registration card today--to a defunct polling location. It was a high school that is completely under construction--there was no voting going on there at all. Funny that there wasn't a sign or anything directing people to the right place--I had to call 411 to connect with the voter registration office, was on hold for twenty minutes, finally found out my correct polling location--went to vote, mentioned they might want to put a sign up at the other location. They said they had sent out a mailing detailing the new polling location and all eligible voters had received it. Hmmm. . . funny. Not this registered voter. I stuck with it until I found out where I was supposed to vote--but I have no doubt that other people just went back home.

I voted at about 4:15 p.m. Out of about 1300 voters in my precinct, I was number 397. This is a good turnout for us. I believe many more voted because we have a an important county race.

I just got back from voting. I left work ten minutes early at 5:20pm because I live over a half hour away from work and I still got caught in horrible traffic as it has been raining here all day and the roads were treacherous! But I made it there 45 minutes before the polls closed and cast my votes.

I went to vote as soon as I dropped my kids off at school. I have to drive to another town to vote so I didn't get there until about 8:26 am. I ask if there had been very many in to vote yet and was told I was the 18th person to come in which they said was about average for voting. How totally sad!

Sent in a mail ballot last week.
You want to scare politicians, always vote.
When too many people start voting they will know that it is no more politics as usual.
