I was born and raised as a catholic but not any more; I think that if we follow the best values you've been taught at home, school, university and so on, will be doing right anywhere. Caring for children, women, olders, poor and disabled people, respecting our neghbors and colleagues, obeying the laws (if they don't mean any harm for our fellow citizens, our mother earth, our family, and so, will be ok). It works for me, but I recognize not for everyone. Every human being is intrinsically good but we should be aware it's not enough to suppose every one we met is like that. Anyone, disregarding his religion, skin color, cultural beleifs, background or age are to be respected, even if we disagree with some concepts they may have. I'm deep against instituted violence from some extremist groups around the world and hope soon everyone will understand it's not the right path to follow for a better world.
I'm from Lima, Perú, South América.
