Ultimately, all evil leads to suffering, but why is suffering evil?

Suffering in and of itself isn't evil. Evil is the intentional infliction of suffering upon the weak and the innocent by men with the absence of Love in their own hearts.

When one suffers they feel as though nothing can go right, that all is lost, and they fail to see that their is always a way out of the situation they are currently in; but most of all when one suffers for too long they lose hope, and eventually the will live. This is why suffering is evil, but say that it is all ways evil or the root of all evil is wrong. Some times when some one suffers they learn a lesson, and maybe a little something about themselves in the process, but some people cannot see that, and eventually they literally will themselves to die or commit suicide. There is a reason why one suffers either someone is committing an evil act that causes suffering, or it is caused by the person's own actions so in the end it is the view point of the individual that determins what caused the suffering and what actions the idividual will take to resolve the situation if any. Suffering is niether good nor evil, but it is caused by the actions of another, or by one's own action, and those may be good or evil.

Why Does God enable Evil and suffering? - If he exists then he invented the two!! So needs us to go through replaced into God’s introduction defective? How can an impotent being create something defective? Why has God allowed suffering previously? - because of the fact he enjoys us suffering? devil claimed that no person might serve Jehovah out of unselfish love. Is that a lie which may be disproved? - for specific, in accordance to the bible human beings have accompanied god out of outrage, suffering, and obedience for a millenia. almost never out of unselfish love

Who says suffering is 'evil'? Suffering is unfortunate. Lots of things lead to suffering, including a culture that refuses to grow up and face reality.

One of the four noble truths in Buddhism, is that life is suffering. Only by doing away with (or getting under control) one's worldly desires can one minimize the suffering of life. It's a learning experience, but not one of good or evil.

It is not, it is merely a consequence of sin. In a way, suffering can be good. If you are in pain, you are still alive. Suffering is used by God to teach, to punish, and to correct his people.
Evil is a totally different thing. Evil is the absence of God. It is the separation of Man from God and a brokenness in that relationship.

Suffering is a part of life. It's not evil in and of itself. Evil is unjustly and unnecessarily causing others to suffer.

Evil is anything that is not of God, or anything that does not glorify Him. Suffering is not evil though. The Book of James says to rejoice in our sufferings, because we will grow from them.

Good question. If Christians are against evil and suffering why do they persist in their evil pursuit of anyone who does not follow their faith?
