I was in a relationship a while ago, I've been out alot, but my mind keeps on going back to my son's uncle. He is one great guy and we are very compatiable. With all the people I meet and go out with, why is he on my mind.

You and your son's uncle are adults. Your son's father has passed away. You are free relationship-wise. If your son's uncle is also free, then you may pursue this as you would any other relationship. The only caution is that you both need to decide beforehand how you will handle a break-up should it occur. You will not want to hurt your son's relationship with his uncle. That is the only real concern that is outside the parameters of any other relationship. This is also coming from a traditional Christian belief system in which there is no sex before marriage. Sex will change things some. Sex will not make a relationship impossible, but it does change the nature of the relationship without doubt or question. The phrase, "Enter at your own risk" comes to mind.

You never know maybe that is why he keeps coming around! I know he loves his nephew but maybe he would like to be more than just an uncle and a friend. He maybe the best and the right thing you need! So start up a conversation about how you had a crush on him and were afraid to say anything because he was the brother and if he says he did too girl jump in the bed under the bed girl you can even stand up! Make him your man!
