The same thing is happening to me and it is only because winter is approaching and their is less sun. Nothing to worry about. If you want to get that reddish brown color back, Try Aveeno's skin enhancing lotion, I used it and it makes your skin look the color it used to be. I really recommend it. Good Luck !

Gosh, don't listen to those Michael Jackson comments. It could be hereditary, like you said about your mom or maybe you've been staying out of the sun (though it's better to be pale than tanned medically).

Are you using a different cream than before?

Some of the new creams have skin brighteners/lighteners which could be the culprit.

It just might be from after summer during summer your skin begins to darken but when the seasons change your skin begins to change .

Could be hormones. Try Obagi if you have an uneven skin tone--

you might have that disease Michael Jackson had. I'm being serious, I knew a girl who had that disease. First she just got a little lighter, then small white spots started popping up, and then a year and a half later she was like blank white and had odd spots everywhere. I felt bad for her.
