I have an 18 year old girlfriend...she is great and all, but I don't want to be with her anymore...I want to try to get with a girl I've loved since HS...HELP me please! I need to know a good way to dump her in a way that she won't hate me forever.

Dude, do whatever you want. Listen to any of the crazy ideas mentioned here. In the end, you will reap the consequences. What ever you do, do it so you won't regret.

Impossible. Someone always gets hurt when a relatinship ends. The best way to do it is to be honest with her (maybe not about getting the other girl), but just tell her that you feelings for her have changed and it would only be fair to go back to being friends rather than have a one sided relationship. There is no way to do this without her feeling bad. Time will heal this, but her feelings will hela faster if you're up front about what's going on. If you lie or beat aroud the bush, it will only add resentment to her already hurt feelings. Good luck.

Sweetie ...just do the deed and break up with her. She'll only hate you for a blink until the next guy comes along. BELIEVE ME when I tell you this is true. I doubt I could remember all the guys that broke up with me or I with them when I was that young. Only a precious few of them remain engraved in my memory...for being really good or really bad...lol

Just take her hand...and tell her you've thought long and hard about it - and you are sorry, but you are breaking up with her. If you want to be kind...lie...and don't tell her it's for another woman...even if it IS one that you've known and cared about for so long. Whatever you tell her she'll think it's crap...lol..but don't tell her anything that will hurt her. She'll probably throw a fit and/or cry and there may be drama....let her have at least that much and don't argue with her. Take it like a man and move on with your life. I do wish you luck...she'll be fine.

Here is a tried and proven method. Go somewhere together with this girl where you're sure your soon to be sweetheart is going to be at. In front of the girl you want to dump, just get dreamy eyed and say, "That is the girl that God just told me to marry." Then make your apology and say that you've got to get going and leave her standing there.

Just be honest, and tell her how you feel, you can not stay with her b/c of fear of hurting her people get hurt all the time you need to do what it right for you. be nice and easy about it and take it from there. Good luck

well you shouldn't have went out with her in the first place, this is cheating, because if you want to go out with someone whom you loved since HS, then you shouldn't have asked this girl out....it's your fault.
