Hating is a defense mechanism when you know what you believe is nonsense.

What a benign question, we don't hate the haters we hate what they do, you know terrorize the innocents, because they are acting cowardly and attacking the innocent and like thieves in the night they attack where they know the most vulnerable are, this is why they are called terrorists.

But actually I hate their actions and pray that they come to see the error of their destruction or of the person that leads them and repent and become wholesome and good, it has happened the more we pray the more will come back to their sense. Only God can call them all we can do is pray for peace. I do won't you join me. Amen

Who hates haters?

I am not sure I understand this question. A person is NOT the totality of their religious beliefs. People are what they are, Some hate. Some dont. Most flip flop in between.

Surely you have met christians who DIDNT judge and hate others? If not. Maybe you havent been hanging around the good ones :-)

And as we -should- all know, an 'opinion' isnt exactly the same as hate.... If I say "abortion is wrong" this in itself doesnt consitute hate...... If I spit on you while saying it.... ok...... that is most likely hate. :-P

Could you have explained this question a little better seriously. Don't categorize all christians into one point of view. Also we don't hate haters if anything we would hope those who have hatred in their hearts would change.... And that does not perpetuate hate.

A bit of advice think before you speak..

That is a hard lesson to learn, and I agree with you, we should love everyone regardless of who or what they are, this is what Jesus tried to tell us, it makes our lives so much easier, and our burdens so much lighter if we allow the Almighty to take revenge for us, but sometimes it is hard, as my guru once said, if a father sees a child crawling towards a fire and does not stop it, what should we do, and that is the same in many instances, we see people crawling towards the fires of hell and taking so many unfortunate victims along with them and it may seem that the only way we can stop them is by ultimate force, we are so stuck between a rock and a hard place, I just hope that the good lord helps us as only He can. Insha'Allah.

Well they don't (or shouldn't) hate the haters. The "haters" are people, the "hate" is not.

The concept is to hate the sin but love the sinner.

Fear is also used as a control factor. I always had a problem with this idea. It seems that we should what is right out of love not out of the fear of what will happen to us if we do not. I believe in the power of love not that of hate and fear.

No religious hate anyone, but human alike us who practise religion and act according to our blind knowledge is called hatred.
Instead of he/she is to be changed, I am the one who has to change in order to build a better world.

Jesus says he hates sin but loves the sinner. We should do likewise. We can hate the action but we need to remember to love and pray for others.

1 John 4:7Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son[b] into the world that we might live through him. 10This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for[c] our sins. 11Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.

The question should not be limited to the "religious" people only. It takes to to tango, so to speak.
