I love talking to our 2 girls. I don't care how much they call. I'm not sure I'd have much to say if it was 3 times a day though. Just remember, there will come a day when you won't be able to call them anymore, so just keep calling them now.

Too much, you won't have anything to talk about that is important... Once a week unless you are planning something special.. You need to be independent and live without the constant influence of your parents. This is a way of growing up and making your own decisions. If you rely on them too much you will not be able to make the right choices yourself.....

I think that's fine. Extream would be every single hour of the day. It depends on how busy your parents are as well. My dad calls my grandfather at completley random times (usually when he's driving.)

Anyway, I'm trying to say, there's never a bad time to call.

No amount is too much. As a parent, and person who has lost both parents, I can tell you that family is everything. My daughters call us several times a week and generally come over twice a month. I wouldn't have it any other way.

I call me parents about the same. I want to make sure everything is OK and let them know I still care about them even tho I have my own family. You can never talk to you family too much. It is the only family you got enjoy them.

there's no rights or wrongs on how many times you talk to your parents. it's entirely up to you, if you are making the calls. if it feels right, then it's right number of times for you. don't worry what other people do, just do what feels comfortable for you.

Have you asked them??????? I think that would be the best thing to do and then abide by what they say....I might suggest not more than once a day....unless there is an emergency...
