At least eight glasses of 8 oz water daily. If you don't like the taste, get some of the water that has flavor to it. (Not the carbonated kind). I could drink those flavored waters constantly. They taste awesome.

I also add a lot of ice to my water because just forcing water down ruins the whole concept for me. I like water so I don't really have a problem with that.

The recommendation is eight 8oz. glasses of water, but the part most people forget is that most or all of that is assumed to come from the food you eat and the liquids you drink.
