I exercise for 15 minutes twice a day (in the morning and at night) because of such a hectic schedule. I was wondering....since my caloric intake is low, is it still okay for me to consume 800 calories a day while taking the protein, fiber, iron supplements and 1 a day vitamins to prevent my body from going into starvation mode? If so, does it heighten or lower my chances of quick weight loss? By the way....I am a 21 y/o female.

Here's an idea: instead of taking protein, fiber and iron supplements, EAT FOOD. 800 Calories is way too little for a 21/F. You should be getting at least 1200 Calories. Otherwise, you will demolish your metabolism. You are not going to lose weight on the plan you have in place. In fact, you will gain very quickly because your body is already coping with low-calorie intake. From here on out, anything over 800 will be stored and horded as fat.

Change your evil ways now! Eat properly but get more than 15 minutes exercise. This will boost your metabolism and help you lose the weight.

Whoa!
Supplements are no replacement for FOOD!
How many calories are you burning in your workouts? You need to feed your body. By cutting your calories too low, you are in a bad mode and too low a metabolism.
While muscles can convert fat into energy, you will need carbs to fuel your BRAIN!
you also left out your weight - very critical.

I lost a friend who had a stomach stapled - and was told to eat 5 little meals a day - well, friend loved the weight loss and only ate 3.
Gone 6 mos after surgery. I miss her.

please be smart
