I'm sorry u are having this problem. Some ppl on here are some real a s sholes.

Anyway, I actually saw a special on the discovery channel I think about this problem and it is real. It had to do with an imblance of a mineral in their bodies or something like that and it was controlled by change in diet. I know u said u have done that too, but if u do not know what the true source is, it may not have mattered. If u have tried all of those things u listed and it's still there then u need to go to a doctor and tell them that u heard about what I just told u and have him/her research it out.

You can get help for this. There is hope for u. It's going to be ok.
Do not hurt yourself over this, it is not your fault. U have obviously tried to remedy the situation so it's not like you're some loser who just doesn't care. U have tried.

Good luck! You're gonna be fine!

You could see a doctor - if this is body odour of a conventional sense then something is wrong.

Is the smell something you find coming from all over you body or just - for example under your arms.

If you have a bath / shower and then apply a good anti-perspirant deoderants (NOT just a deo and anti-persp but a combined spray), and then just sit in a cool room for 30 mins - does the smell appear - or only if you get dressed?

Give us a few more clues - and ignore wan**rs like the first person to reply to your post.

Would still say, seeing a doc is not an all bad plan. Also what does w/e mean please?

This is totally fixable, not worth hurting yourself over.

There are some physical conditions that can make your own nose extremely sensitive to your own body odour, while people around you may not even notice anything.
Body odour is a natural byproduct of living, everyone has body odour of one kind or another. It could be that your particular hormones, chemistry, etc. are creating an odour that you are particularly sensitive to.
Go to some you trust to be truthful, and ask them if they can smell it. Maybe you're the only one that can smell it.
If your friend truthfully says she can't smell it, move on and forget about it.
If your friend says that she can smell it as well, the next question would be does she find it offensive?
If not, maybe you're one of those few lucky people in the world with a natural body odour that is pleasing to others (even if you don't like it).

You've tried a lot of outside coverup products (cologne, showers, deodorant, etc.), and they haven't helped. So the problem is not that you aren't clean. Maybe you're just trying too hard.
When you wash so much and try to cover up with all those artificial chemicals, your body will try to bring itself back into balance, and maybe its over-reacting to all your cleaning.

You say you changed your diet, but I wonder if you did any research.
Body odour can be caused by a lack of certain vitamins (calcium, vitamin C, and zinc come to mind right away) or an excess of things like fats and starches.
Junk food (chips, fries, pizza, burgers, donuts, etc.) can create an excess of toxins in your system that your body is trying to get rid of (the skin is the largest organ the body uses to get rid of the bad stuff in your system).
Not enough fresh fruit and vegetables means your digestive system isn't working efficiently, so more toxins build up in the blood and have to be eliminated somehow.
Suggestions for diet:
cut back on the sugar, salt, and starch (meaning no Pepsi, donuts, or french fries)
no refined foods (like burgers or pizza)
lots of fresh fruit and vegetables
minimal meat, go for whole grains, nuts, and legumes
minimal dairy (can create bacterial buildup that can cause odour)

Bottom line - you can work through this. Everyone is a rose on the inside, you can be a rose on the outside as well.

a friend of mine robert micheal (mike for short) had the same problem. it was something to do with having over active sweat glands. he went to the doctor who gave him some medication to take and the odor went away instantly.

have also noticed people of different backgrounds have certain odors because of the food they eat. If you arent eating anything funky like curry then go see a doctor.

def dont kill yourself, who cares if you have an odor. just get a really good cologne to cover it up. it could always be worse. you could have herpes, or bad acne, or psoriasis, or be missing a limb, or be a quadrapalegic, or have terminal cancer, or other way more serious problems. Just keep your head up and talk to a doctor about your options. you may be producing too much testosterone or something easily fixable like that.

just chill out and dont hurt yourself

Don't listen to the first answer. It depends on how old you are, if you are still going through puberty then there is nothing much you can do about it. You shouldn't kill yourself because of body odor.. that's ridiculous. If it bothers you that much then maybe you should check with the doctor for a treatment? Either way you shouldn't kill yourself. You could have it a lot worse.

First of all you don't need to take your life because you have a odor problem. Try going to one of your doctors and see what they say or have for you. This probably is just a puberty problem or just something that will pass soon.

Did you know that Botox is not just for wrinkles, it's also used for treating severe cases of body odor. That and other treatments are available from a dermatologist. Go and visit one, they'll be able to suggest the best treatment for your problem.
