I have had episodes since I was about 12 or 13 where I get like paralyzed from the waist down. No feeling, complete weakness,...I just hit the ground. It last for about 15 minutes to 2 hours. Sometimes one leg,...sometimes both legs. The other day I had one leg go numb and I felt of my foot because it turned blue,...it was ice cold. I have a sister that has MS and MD, another sister with MS, another sister had hodgkin's disease, mother died from a stroke, sister died from a heart attack, diabetes also in niece, mother, sister by the way. Any suggestions on what this could be is much appreciated. Also if you have these symptoms I would like to hear. Thanx again

As a teen they kept telling me it was my equalibrium. But it is still happening and I don't have problem with my ears anymore. I am really scared to see a doctor now. As I have thought for so many years that this is normal and happens to most people. Now I know different and am scared to death. I am 34 by the way.

sounds like you have a blood clot or some kind of circulatory problem. With all the health issues in your family sounds like you need to be getting full exams regularly.

You need to see a doctor for a proper diagnosis! It sounds like a pinched nerve until you mentioned your foot turning blue. It could a number of things, your circulatory system, hypoglycemia, etc. Go to the doctor!

It could be any kind of condition!! I know you feel scared...if there are people around you who love you...you should be seen by a doctor!!! It could mini-strokes...blood clots ...seizures !!! But most of which are treatable!!! Maybe you have nerve damage....just grab ahold of some courage and get seen by a doctor!!!
Sounds to me that if its happened more than once you are missing your body's warning signs!!! GO GO GO

Have you seen a doctor about this? This MAY mean a severe symptom of diabetes, and you should get to the doctor immediately.

You need to see a doctor. It could be more than one thing, also. With your family medical history--see a doctor.
