Any number of reasons...
He doesn't like you anymore.
He didnt' like the sex.
He is embarrassed about the sex, or the morning after.
He caught you lying or cheating.
He cheated or lied.
I could go on and on. Need to know the circumstances I guess.

I stopped talking to my ex-girlfriend who remained my friend for a year after for about a month and a half. Personally the reason I did it was to see if she still wanted to talk to me. : ) She did.
Does he avoid talking to you by not calling you back? If that's so that's different then what happened between me and my ex.

he has other things on his mind, like another girl. or maybe alot of other reasons, but when a guy stops talking to a girl it's cause they are not interested anymore.

Hmm I'm pondering this very question myself.
Maybe you slept with him when you were to drunk to know better, and now he avoids you for no apparent reason?

Either because he broke up with you and does not want to lead you on, or because he is feeling that your friendship/relationship is headed in the wrong direction.
