If you expect to hear the L word after being with someone for three months, and are going to dump someone if you don't, then be prepared to be with a lot of different guys during your life time. The ones that do use the L word within the first three months won't be around a long either.

3 months is barely a drop in the bucket in the realm of relationships. Saying the L word id a very big step for people and shouldn't be thrown around loosely. Lighten up and have fun in the relationship, you only live once!!

You havent' given it enough time. Three months isn't that long. Not only that, but you have to respect a guy that isn't willing to tell you something he doesn't mean. Most guys would tell you, just to shut you up, or to get you in bed. I feel you on the not wanting to waste your time! But i would give it a little while if you love the guy. If he is worth it to you, then he is worth it. Just hang in there. he will say it when he means it, and you will appreciate it a lot more then.

3 months is about the minimum time required for anyone to figure out if they want to be with you at all, let alone love you. First you have to wait for the first blush to pass, you know, that euphoric feeling you get every time you're together. Then you can really start to get to know one another.
If he hasn't told you he loves you on or before your first "anniversary", then you should be concerned about whether or not you two have a future. In the meantime, enjoy his company and don't lose any sleep about his level of feelings for you. They'll make themselves apparent, one way or another.
Good luck.

The L word is kinda a big deal. You only want to say it when you are sure you really mean it. He might love you, but its only been three months. Maybe he thinks if he says he loves you, you will start expecting a marriage proposal and start a family. There's a difference between "luv ya" and "I love you". Don't be so impatient to fall in love. I guess only time will tell how he really feels.

I think females are more in tune to their emotions. Guys usually feel things but choose not to identify them as quickly as we do. The first couple weeks of dating my boyfriend (now together 15 months) I knew he was the one. Yet it took him, about 5 months, to spit out those words. Yet I was sure after 2-3 months of spending nearly everyday with him that I loved him. I didn't say it. Be patient with him, it takes guy longer than we'd like for these things.
Also don't think of it as only wanting to be with someone that loves you...you should only want to be with someone if you feel in your heart this is the right relationship for you.

3 months is not really that long. If he has been hurt before there is nothing wrong with him being careful and I commend him for not just saying it to get what he wants. LOVE is a very important work and it is great that he is not just throwing it around. If you are really into him then be patient.

I don’t think you should be concerned. I think many people fall in love too easily and fast these days. Love is a large committed. 3 months is not long for someone to be together, get to know each other better and the love will probably eventually come.

I think it's unfair to expect someone to say the L word after only 3 months. Give it a little more time. And no you shouldn't be weary.

well thats pretty odd. maybe he wants to just make sure of the relationship before he gets into anything. my boy and i have been dating for 3 1-2 months and he said he loved me after like a week. but thats cause were destined. lol true love. the one kinda thing. dont worry just say it to him if no response back talk to him about it. ull know what to do then.
