find out what city he was in ........ call that cities local law enforcement to find out where he got booked

You can call the city in which he/she got arrested in and ask if they had been arrested recently. Also, you should be able to call the jail and see if they are still there.

contact the persons family or go down to your local police department and ask. and if you are family they will tell you because that's how my brother find me after i was 2 days missing from work!
