What some call wishy washy, I call on the road to enlightenment. The questions you ask tell me you are on the way. Yes we all have a common ground we could meet on, if we chose and nothing is wrong with that and everything is right with that.

But the thing is, if u are believing in them all, that is impossible. They are all contradicting eachother. Thats like saying that u believe that there should be a rule against something, but then u agree that there shouldn't be that rule. Hold on, let me make it more understandable. Okay, u believing in all those thigns can't amke sense and to some people, it will make it seems like u are lost. U can't believe or agree with ALL those religions or belifes cuz hten they will be going against each other. U are agreeing with athiests who don't believe in any religion (which right there just shuts up the whole case), and then u believe with the buddhists adn Christians don't agree with that. They don't believe in a God. They worship an man named Buddah. Or some real human. Not someon who can atually save us and let us go to heaven. U are believing in all thses religions that all together diagree with eachother. Thats why everyone thinks that u are lost.
Well i hope that i helped. If u still need help then e-mail me.

I too have the same situation except for the atheist part. I basically took Christianity and added some Non-Christian elements to what was there along with Native American Spirituality ( as everyone knows part of my ancestry ) along with some Ancient Way ideas as icing on the cake. when I go with my family go to Christian Church without a fuss but when certain situations occur then certain Ancient Belief Practices are performed. these may not help but in addition to Prayers these certainly make me feel better and certainly do no harm.

I'm not coming down on you here, but it seems like you have a lack of commitment to things. You say you see yourself in every belief, but what is YOUR belief? If you believe in God, that's actually not enough because even Demons believe in God and we all know that they are against God. So, I'd say it's time for some decisions. Choose life and not death is the advice I'd give you. Go to biblegateway.com and type in Acts 4:12 and then Acts 2:38-40

I totally understand what you are saying I feel the same! I respect peoples reliogion but I dont believe in it! Basically all religions based on the same thing you must serve a god you must not commit sin blah blah!! I believe that people who follow religion are more lost or just rely on it for comfort! Its like being brainwashed or just the way you have been brought up! Theres no right or wrong in religion! Except of course murder and cruelty!

I believe most, close to all, religions have good things to offer and believe in. They must. There was one religion only in the very beginning, I believe, and over several thousand years there has been changes to that first, one, perfect religion. I do not believe any one religion has the complete fulness of the gospel, as the very first religion taught to Adam and Eve, other than the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is complete, the full gospel was restored directly from Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ to the earth through the Prophet Joseph Smith. This I know to be true.

Using the same metaphor: lost...
If you're trying to get somewhere specific and you follow everyone's directions (those who know how to get there and those who haven't got a clue, but tell you where to go none-the-less), I imagine you'd be walking in circles instead of getting where you were trying to go.
If you are trying to live for an eternity with God, listen to the directions provided by Jesus Christ. The alternative is an eternity without God. Your beliefs are yours to place, but judgement will come from God.
There are only two categories: the truth of God, and lies. So, there is a lot less separation than you seem to express in your question.
And you are a part of something more than just categories. Jesus died for your sins and offered for you to be a part of him, if only you believe in Jesus Christ as your Savior.

That is truly an intriguing question. If I read it correctly, you are taking the best parts (parts that suit you) of different religions and following all of that, instead of finding something that you don't agree with and forcing yourself to believe that just because you should believe it according to some religious doctrine.
What a great concept. It looks like you are more spiritual than religious. (I think that's great.)
Don't fall victim to exegesis, and follow your own path.

You are an open-minded free thinking individual - there, I have categorized you - now welcome to the club!
Categorization is a double edged sword but a vital necessary part of our world. Unfortunately many people use it for ill means.
You are very correct in your assumption; we are apart of something much, much more than just categories. We are apart of a great big universe that we are trying to understand. And the only way to try to understand it is to experience it. - So keep experiencing it...

The Paths can be many --only the Faith in the Supreme being should unshakable(Achalam)---One should be wise enough to listen to other's faith and try to understand,if not assimilate. All paths lead to the same goal-Moksham or Nirvana(salvation)-"Aakaasath Pathitham Thoyam yatha Gacchadi Saagaram, sarva devam namaskaram Kesavam Pradhi Gacchathi"--Cloud(H2O), falls as rain, runs as canals--then rivers with many names-reach oceans-again evaporate as clouds in America,Europe,Asia,Australia or Antartica-H2O is only H2O-So why quarrel in names?
