I asked this question regarding Gnosticism... Why did the error(God) nail jesus to a tree. According to serveral Gnostic documents the errored nailed jesus to the cross. I wanted to know why this question got removed. Was it because it wasn't a Christian based question! Not everyone is a Christian!

Are you sure you are not missing a few words in your above description of your alleged question?
Gnostic documents were often forgeries, or documents written several hundred years after the claimed timeframe. The Gospel of Thomas fits into both catagories.
The 3rd century bishops did not permit any Gnostic documents into the churches for public reading for the main reason that they contained information that was contrary to Apostolic Teaching, the measuring rod for determining true scripture from fake scripture.
I know of no Gnostic document that refers to God as an error.
