Do people still get flesh eating disease today or we won't get it any more?

Yes, they still get it. As long as there are germs/bacteria, there will always be something out there that will be antibiotic resistant that can kill us. And there will always be something. Bacteria constantly mutate to survive. People don't wash their hands enough and touch all kinds of things they shouldn't. I know sometimes you can get a flesh eating bacteria (Necrotizing Fasciitis) just from bumping your leg on something and getting a cut that is so small that you pay no attention to it. If it's infected with the Necrotizing Fasciitis, it will eat into your flesh so quickly that you can lose 1 pound of flesh or more an hour if untreated.

yes, although it is rare. I work in the operating room and saw a case about 3 months ago.

As far as I know, it is still around, but the news is not paying much attention to it now.

People still get it but it's always been very rare.
