To clarify, "Persia" is an alternative name for Iran, mostly used by exiles. They prefer to call the language Persian rather than Farsi.

In much of Afghanistan, they speak a dialect of Farsi, called Dari. Pushto is the other main language of Afghanistan, but it is not closely related ot Farsi.

Another dialect is spoken in Tajikistan.

yea in Iran and aFghanistan .but the language spoken in each is different ..2 brands are "Dari" and " pashtun".
