I see no real reason to disclose that...maybe tell him down the road, after you've had a few dates with him, that he was the first guy you dated...

Telling him right off, will of course beg the question from him of "Why have you never dated before?" Are you prepared to be honest about your reason(s)? Are they something you think might be off-putting?

Honesty is great, and a must, but we needn't give someone our life history on the first date and unless your reason(s) for not having dated are something that could cause him harm in some way, or are totally revolting to some people, I'd wait a bit and share that when you two are having discussions about life and the past and things like that...because it's natural that at some point you two will discuss both of your dating history, relationships, etc...

If he asks, be honest...if he doesn't ask...save it for another time.

if you are so nervous that it is an issue then tell him, but if you can pull off the night as a pro, i would wait and see if you even want to go out with him again before you let him in to far.

Just follow this simple rule: be yourself. Looks easy, but very few people do it. It is very important, because if the other person likes you, he will like the real you. Not somebody you pretend to be.

No need to say anything at all. He doesn't need to know it's your first date. It isn't really relevant anyway. Just have a good time!

Don't stress out about it, take it easy, there are no special or strict rules that you have to go by. Just go and have a good time.

If I were in that position, I'd like to tell the truth. Honesty is the policy, isn't it?

he obviously thought you were like able or else he would not be going out with you. I would definitely tell him but most likely it won't matter!
