paraphenalia is personal belongings. however its also used to describe things used for drugs. a water pipe (aka bong) is not paraphenalia, however, if the water pipe were to be used and have resin or trace fo drugs on it, it is the paraphenalia. same with razors, knives, anything. a q-tip with some mariquana resin on it could be considered paraphenalia.

Paraphernalia is anything that one uses to do drugs. It could be rolling papers, pipes, hookahs, foil, needles, syringes, ext. It also must have some residue on the item to be considered paraphernalia.

Are you talking about drug paraphernalia? If so, it is any equipment used in the act of consuming drugs - i.e. serringes, bongs, a mirror and razor blade, etc.
