A girl from Georgia and a girl from the west coast were seated side by side on an airplane.
The girl from Georgia, being friendly and all, said, "So, where ya from?"
The west coast girl said, "From a place where they know better than to use a preposition at the end of a sentence."
The girl from Georgia sat quietly for a few moments and then in her Sweetest Southern Accent replied:

It relies upon the fact that the person you're telling knows what a preposition is, though.

here's another!
two southern women were sitting on a porch. the first woman says to the second woman, " my husband just bought me a brand new car!"
the second woman sits up straight and says, " that's nice."
the first woman goes on, "and my husband just bought me a big, beautiful new house!"
again the second woman replies, "that's nice, that's just real real nice."
the first woman sticks out her hand and shows off a big diamond ring, "my husband just bought me this too!!"
the second one just folds her hands and says, "that's nice."
the first woman is quiet for a couple seconds, then bursts out, "well, what has your husband gotten for you!?!"
the second woman replies," my husband just sent me to finishing school, so that i could learn how to say "that's nice" instead of f*ck you!! "
