Any doctors in the house?

Why do I always get sick with the cold/flu right before I start my period? Being a nurse- I think I've already know the answer, but was wondering if there's anything else I might need to know. Any info would be appreciated.. Thanks.

Roxylee, I'm not a doctor but if I may, it could be that the low estrogen and progesterone levels just before your period are responsible for PMS. One of the PMS sequellae is URI. Does this explanation make sense to you?
