How can one train oneself to get up and go make wudu instead of being so lazy? I know there are lots of people out there that are. Are there certain things that you think of that motivate you to go maintain your prayer?

In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful & Compassionate

02.153 “O you who believe! Seek help in steadfastness and prayer. Lo! Allah is with the steadfast.”

Al-Haakim reported in al-Mustadrak, and al-Tabaraani reported in al-Mu’jam, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Faith wears out in the heart of any one of you just as clothes wear out, so ask Allaah to renew the faith in your hearts.” (Reported by al-Haakim in al-Mustadrak, 1/4; Al-Haythami said in Majma’ al-Zawaa’id, 1/52, “It was reported by al-Tabaraani in al-Kabeer and its isnaad is saheeh.”)

About a couple of weeks ago, I was one of the people who would not wake up in the morning to read the Fajr namaz. But I had to wake up on Mondays, Wednesdys and Fridays early around 6:00 AM because I had to work and then on those days I used to pray the morning prayer. One day, I heard this islamic lecture somewhere in which the person gave an example that " if your employer told you that if to get up at 5 in the morning everyday and go to his house and knock on his door to wake him up and he'll give you $1000 for that, you would definitely do that everyday, so think about it, if you can do that for a person, how much award can you get if you do that for Allah?"
And I realized that the same is true for me, I was waking up early on these three weekdays because I had to work then why can't I do that for Allah.......where truly the reward is so huge! better than anything in this world! and now Alhamdullilah, I make an effort to wake up on all days, if I feel lazy, I say to myself "what if you have had to go to work today? would you still not ake up?"
Also, listening to islamic lectures keeps me very motivated.
I am from a country where we do not have centralized AC and 24-hour hot water supply in our houses. So, again I think that with all the facilities here (like warm water for wudu in winters etc.), if I can not do it, I can never do it.
I ask Allah to give strentgh to all the muslims to follow the right path and do the right thing.

God created us. He is aware of whats first-class for us in the whole thing. Once fairly is not adequate. We are WAY too forgetful and neglectful as individuals for that. By praying five occasions an afternoon, we're washing and preserving hygienic five occasions an afternoon. We participate in reflexive, meditative and enjoyable pastime five occasions an afternoon. Good for brain, frame and soul. We get to close off from the arena and awareness on our Creator five occasions an afternoon. By praying we recall our dangerous deeds and recall we ought to right them five occasions an afternoon. five occasions an afternoon we hinder dangerous movements via prayer, as we all know each few hours we will be able to must face our Lord - ideal self-deterrent We can ask God for steerage and support officially via prayer five occasions an afternoon There are such a lot of extra advantages however the men above have protected plenty of them. Anyone will inform you consistency is the important thing to any profitable act. Taqwa = God realization - and admittedly through steady prayer we reap such realization

When I hear the adhan, its like Allah (swt) is saying: come. Do U ignore someone who has given you so much? This is the least I can do. It’s a simple thank you to the Most Gracious, Most Merciful, Most Giving, Most Forgiving…shall I go on? Just think, when at 4 or 4.30 am, when U R really sleepy and don't want to get up, it is Satan who is telling U "don't get up, forget it", can U listen to Satan and ignore God?

do it with sincerity and get yourself used to it in less than a month Inshallah you'll be praying regularly.

the thing that motivates you is your love and devotion to God, also try reading the Quran at least a few verses every day.

peace.
