Here is how to find information on African religion:
1. Go to google.
2. Type "african traditional religions" into the search box -- no quotes
3. You should get back about 3,610,000 hits in about 0.21 seconds--which is WAY more then you could use in your lifetime.

Here are a few of the links. Feel totally free to go find your own sites, though, if you don't like these. (-:

General: Religion in Africa:
African religions (indigenous African religions) are distinct to African ethnic groups. In certain respects the term is awkward as indigenous African religions have a wide cultural variety that makes virtually any overall statement a sweeping generalization, but the majority of African religions do share some commonalities. There is no universal aspect found in all African religions.

African Traditional Religion:
African Traditional Religion comprises the religious beliefs and practises of the indigenous black people of Africa which have been in existence from time immemorial, and are still adhered to today by many Africans. Religion among Africans is not treated as an isolated entity. It is dealt with in a broader context as it permeates all sections of life of both an individual and society. There is no line of demarcation between "believers" and "non-believers", and in fact such a distinction is incoceivable since everyone in that society is born into his/her religion.

African Traditional Religion:
Africa was once a continent where the people lived well, initially, a continent that created a tradition of wholeness, where African Traditional Religions (ATRs) embraced all aspects of life, the spiritual, the political, the social. Where music and art communicated with the Sacred.
