Your question is very confusing as to just what it is that you are asking. Are you saying that if someone whats to ask a question about evolution why are they asking it in the R/S section instead of the Science section?
I have not followed any questions that were asked about evolution. If it is a purely science question it should be in the science section. However, I suspect that if an atheist is asking and is asking it here then maybe it is not a purely science question. In that case they want to see how a Christian will respond. And that is IMO, a good thing.
And in my church Evolution is not a problem. God created the world and he could do it anyway he wanted. In the Episcopal Church God and Evolution can go together just fine.

You seem assuming that people who flow to this website are "regulars" which some are yet maximum at the instant are not hence the will to re-submit what seems to be repetitive responses to particularly some the repetitive questions asked right here very almost hourly. additionally do no longer subsume that there is any form of consensus among skeptics on right here the two. all human beings is distinctive even interior particular international perspectives. ultimately take this with a grain a salt--no wait--make that a boulder in fact, on account which you have have been given to realize that for some human beings this would be a variety of uncommon daily activities while they'd somewhat vent approximately religious and non religious perspectives. In different words, do no longer enable this "get to you" on account that is strictly what approximately 0.5 the folk who submit right here get their rocks off doing anonymously over the internet.

Most christians DON'T ask about evolution. They've already decided it's bullsh*t, and don't want to know any more, for fear it might make sense, I guess. And if they do ask those silly questions, like "why are there still monkeys"....they have to ask them here, so they can blame the answers on "people trying to undermine religion." If they asked those questions in the science section, they'd be slammed by people who don't care what religion they are.

I agree.
This is a place to openly ask questions, not just to all pat ourselves on the back because we all validate each others faiths
I love the diversity in here and I hate that the 'Atheists in the R/S section' question pops up several times a day

I like your question. I agree with it too. But if all the christians went to the science section who would be here to answer your questions?

Hmm,
Religion should be in the Mythology section I feel. Athiests should be in the Folklore. That makes sense.

People who usually ask about Science want a religious opinions. The question usually includes some hint at religion or spiritually.

there are religious aspects to evolution, that's most likely why they ask here. the evolution questions i see here generally have a religious slant to them, either for or against. i don't see people asking scientific evolution questions here.
