The answer is easy they come to these pages because they doubt themselves, They know that NO ONE can prove that God does not exist , and that is a fact no matter what anyone says. Of course they will now say well prove he does, well I believe there is enough proof around if only they would open their eyes, but then they would say if there is a God why does he allow so many bad things to happen, well hard answer to understand, but ask yourself this why should he, we have free will to do as we please, and just look at the mess we have made of the world so far, so why should he help us out, there's an old saying you've made your bed now lie in it. He does show us the way, but most are blind to it, of course just watch these so called atheists ask for his help if there is someone dieing , or they are near death, other than that they have nothing better to do, than write about things they have no idea.
Love & Peace

Maybe it's because this is Yahoo! Answers, where everybody has the right to ask whatever they like, regardless of their faith or lack of faith.
And if they are asking a religious question, where else would they ask but the Religion & Spirituality area?
EVERYBODY has the right to ask questions on here, regardless of what they believe in. And who cares if the questions appear stupid? Just because it is stupid to you, it doesn't mean that it is a stupid question.
I think people should stop moaning and learn to respect each other, and each other's beliefs. If you want people to respect what you believe in, then you should treat them as you wish to be treated.

~~ Paul T,,,,,Because of the constant need for Knowledge and Spiritual Understanding. Sure there are always going to be immature, ignorant and intolerant people wherever you go. Just filter them out as they are just lashing out at An Institution (Religion) that they cannot accept,,, anymore than the Proselytizing that a Christian feels they must express upon him. Some Atheists are actually knowledgable and can give an intelligent response or inquiry to someone of Religious Faith. Thou shall not judge us ALL merely from the actions of a few. P.S. I am one.

What? A Christian or a bigot? Persoanlly, I don't view being religious and being spirtual as the same thing. In fact, my experience is such that the two are pretty much mutually exclusive.

People, no matter what their beliefs are, like to argue and like to be "better" than others who are different. It's human nature. Everyone does it to some degree or another. It's just that those who are more obnoxious about it have some deep-seated issues that go beyond what their beliefs are and show that they are really insecure and need to consistently feed their ego.
Ignore the snide and baited questions. They're not worth stressing over.

Atheism is a religion and spirituality issue.
The reason that there are so many of them there is because they are angry at the mess that religions of all shapes and sizes have made of the world and they want to put their point of view across in the hope of gaining some converts.

Atheists are angry. Angry that religion is being forced into their lives. Angry that they are judged for not believing, they are being called immoral, devil worshipers. Christians are anti-choice, are trying to control the world. So, the atheist in their way of self assurance and fight back, try to catch Christians as being hypocritical. When one is caught up in the trap. It creates proof that Christianity is not perfect, and that they should not have to abide by the rules of Christianity or any religion.
I am a christian trying to encourage love, tollerance, and humbling behavior.

Because they are part of the family of the devil. Satan works through those who hate Christ to try to destroy their faith. He is doing what he does best. 1 Peter 5:8 Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
We must always be watching out for him. He is a sore looser.

Why do you care? Unless you don't like the fact that they're causing you to actually come up with real answers instead of imaginary. The fact that they're causing you to question.

why are so many christians asking evolution questions on this page? isnt that better suited for science?
and as for the 2nd part about leading christians with questions. its because ur bible contradicts itself and its funny to see you guys have this innability to answer them straightforward.
i find it rather amusing when i ask a question, show 2 verses that contradict eachother and the only responses are, is that im hell bound and satan has a hold of me. instead of any real response that takes thought. u guys dont think for yourselves.
