Well the focus isn't my problem really. It's being consistent where I fall into error. I am a stay at home mom right now and being one isn't easy. It's the toughest job I've ever had that didn't pay. I try to stay focused on the things that really matter in life and am reminded right then of God and my salat obligations.

The five time daily prayers in Islam are the best way that reminds Muslims about God and their existance and their purpose in life.

From the moment they wake up till the time they go to bed at the end of the day, Muslims are reminded of what is important in life with the five daily prayers - God, and reminded of where our ultimate destination is.

Apart from the five daily prayers, every act of kindness is also worship, every smile, every thankyou, every helping hand is rewarded. We Muslims have it so easy Alhamdulillah! :)

At home, it helps me to use a liturgy of some sort. I also pray to God just like I'm talking to my friend, but for me, to use a pre-written prayer is very helpful in reminding me of the blessings of God.

I've also been occasionally praying the Rosary, and have found this very good to help with my focus.

In my car, I listen to religious music that is prayerful.

But I find it difficult to remember God as much as I'd like while at work and throughout the day. Sometimes I just say his name, or sing a hymn in my mind.

if one thing
if u believe that u don't need in the life else god
god loves people who work for their life
for example when u working that is considered a pray for god u may say but what is the relation
i will tell u that god consider people who really love their work and honest in doing thier work as people who pray to him also ( that is one aspect of thinking of god and praying to him )
in Ur daily life i am sure no one loves u more than god who really made u have a beautiful life and devote for u everything

as quickly as I pray to god I only communicate over with him like i might a exact buddy or relative, like i might communicate over with my father somewhat. I ask for help and training and such. Praying is extremely calming. in a while I in many situations say the Lords prayer, however the best prayers that make me sense stable are those that come quickly from my coronary heart. I only close my eyes, placed my hands mutually and pray. Praying isn't comparable to guy or woman to guy or woman.

When I was younger, I started a habit of prayer before sleeping, and it stuck (it helped that I was under water, at sea on my submarine). I expanded it, to free time while driving, (the way people drive in Ca. is amazing).
I thank GOD for the miracles sent to me, if/when I recognize them.

He lives inside of me. How can I not attend to Him?

Oh, I realize that many neglect their relationship.

What it really boils down to is I'm just hungry. Jesus gave me a little taste of the life and life more abundantly that He came to give, and I just had to have more. And the more I tasted, the more desperate I became to have more. But that's a good thing. Those who are truly hungry for God and for His righteousness will never be sent away from His presense hungry. Jesus said blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness; for they shall be filled, Matthew 5:6. It has been my experience that this is absolutely true! Blessed be the name of the Lord!!!

It is hard to focus with you are at work or out in the world. That is what the enemy wants. I play christian music in my office to keep me in the mood. And if a non believer comes in and doesn't like it, then too bad for them! :)

I believe a good template for prayer is first to praise. Thank Him for all your blessings. Then to confess. Then to ask your needs. Whenever I see a child walking home from school I pray they make it home safe. When a boss is corrupt, pray for them. When someone is having health issues or their family member is, pray for them. God wants our prayers to be continuous, never stop.

Stay in constant communication with Him. You don't have to go to a quiet place to pray, pray in your car, at work, as you're doing your chores. Keep up a conversation with Him like He's your best friend, you know the one you call constantly. God bless.
